Mosley will be the biggest puncher FM has fought, does he have the power to KO him?

I think he does. FM has only fought a few big punchers in his career. Those being Corrales, Gatti, and Judah, and these guys are not masive punchers but have pretty good power. FM never took that many shots from these guys and made them miss like crazy. Now he is fighting Mosley a murderous puncher, does he have a enough power to put floyd to sleep? I think he does. And unlike the mayweather-gatti or corrales fights, mosley will definatly land on floyds chin and will not be hitting air the whole time. thoughts?

Of course he does if he lands, wether he has the accuracy and timing to land on mayweather the kind of shot he will need to really hurt him though is the question. It will be interesting to see.

It is exciting though... lol. Hope they make an official announcement soon.

if he knocked out antonio margarito...a huge welterweight who had never been beaten up or knocked around like that...then he has more than enough to do it to FMJ

Does he have the power to? Yes

Can he though? We'll just have to wait and see. Mosley's gonna need some supreme strategizing for this fight, Brother Nazim has his work cut out for him.

I think he's capable of it

That's the first thing i thought too! Mosley and dlh fought twice, i haven't seen much evidence of Mosley hitting harder.

The problem for Oscar was that the few clean powershots he landed were overhand rights, while his money punch is the left hook. With Mosley it's a little different, he's a serious puncher with both hands. The thing is that Floyd will be very aware of this and make it extremely hard for Shane to get his shots off, and Shane imo never looks his best when he has to go looking for a guy.

Anyway, let's just hope they sign the effing contracts for starters.

Mosley knocked out Margarito, who uses his head to block punches. Mayweather is one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time. If there is anything I'm sure of, it's that Mosley will NOT knock Floyd out, just like I was sure Pacquiao wouldn't have knocked Floyd out. I don't think Mosley will beat Mayweather, but if he does, it will probably be on sheer aggression. I don't see him out-boxing or knocking Mayweather out.

Mosley has the power to KO anyone but does he have the skill is the better question to ask

Mosley is a good puncher but nonthing totaly new for Floyd as he has fought some guys who can crack. We must remember mosley hit Cotto with good punches but not nearly as much as he did Marg. Cotto held up ok and so will floyd probaly, as long as he does not eat as many punches as Marg.

If he can get that old body in fighting shape with added speed than yes. But he has to catch FMJ first and no one has yet. Why are we being fed second tier fights when the one we relay want to see is on hold. Why I still have a hard time digesting. When they finally get around to it, we'll all be broke. How many PPV's can we afford in a year?
