There is one youtube clip, in slow motion, where you can see Floyd hurt from a punch. One. 40 fights. Was thinking this would be a competitive fight, but as the days roll by, looking like it's going to be 120-108 for you-know-who.
Well, I think you're overrating Mayweather's jab - which is nothing special. Also, Mayweather's movement is really only employed in a defensive way -- and I think its Mayweather lack of offense that will lose him the fight. Ok, Mosley will miss a lot, but I'm still feeling that he'll land more shots in total than Mayweather - which should be enough to earn a UD, or at least it gives him a chance.
Part of me feels Mosley just had a bad night against Cotto. He looked stiff right from the beginning and just loaded up on right hands even when Cotto was directly in front of him. He didn't look sharp. I too, see no way that version of SSM beats Floyd. But even if that was the case and he comes in every bit as sharp/athletic as he did against Margo, I get the sense that Floyd will be able to land the cleaner/pinpoint shots, nullify Shane's bodywork, and give enough movement to keep Shane from tracking him down enough to win a fight. I'm about 70/30 or so (maybe 75/25) that Floyd wins this fight via clear decision, but you can never write a great like Shane off.
 The guy just made a polite, respectful post about who he thinks will win... DO you absolutely have to jump on the "eat your crow" now?
I think its all about sticking to nazims gameplan and not letting anything mayweather does detour him. You can say what you want about the fighters but with nazim in the picture it brings a new outlook on everything.
That's the big issue. Mosley's stamina and workrate lost him the fight against Cotto, so its not logical to think there will be any improvments in those areas, only decline. But logic has limitations. My heart says Mosley, and I can see it playing out in my head, I just don't think Mayweather has the offensive tools to beat Mosley - its his fight to lose.
He didnt have the right gameplan for cotto and he didnt have good advice inbetween rounds. Who knows how he prepared to.
he does stand a chance. if he keeps pressuring and throwing he will keep floyd looking for places to hide instead of places to hit. thats how castillo beat him.
I would love to see Mosley beat Mayweather and Pac, but it just doesn't seem likely to me... I think Mayweather is gonna outbox him easily.
There might have been a conditioning issue as well against Cotto. Every chance that Mosley will come into this fight in the best shape of his career.
I know he did. I want him to join the PBF-Mosley avatar bet thread which is all fun anyways. I didn't bash the guy, I said be ready to eat crow that's it.
