Mosley has mentioned Berto as a possible opponent before, particularly when Berto outpointed Forbes in 12 and Shane knocked Mayorga out in the last seconds of their twelve rounder... In the Mayorga post-fight interview with Max, Shane said Berto was a young tiger with amazing handspeed and reminded of himself when he was young and coming up in weight to the welterweight division ( "like looking in the mirror")... Happens that Shane was 32-0, 30 KOs when he moved up and he combined handspeed with natural horsepunchingpower. And he has proven that the last thing you lose is your punch when he knocked Mayo and Margo out even after losing to Miguel Cotto... So here's the central point - Mosley's power and Berto's speed ( since Mosley also used to be a super-fast combo puncher and Berto has a powerful punch too). If Berto pot shots and moves sideways, he can outpoint Shane or else...

I can't see it going down any other way. Berto gets wild and starts squaring up. He'd have to be seriously improved. More than I think he could possibly be. Shane will have opportunities to seriously unload on him. I don't see Berto taking the shots for 12.

Mosley is likely to whip the dog **** out of Berto, but its also highley possible his age shows up that night.
I like Mosley but he isnt exactly a spring chicken these days

I believe Mosley would win the fight i told my friends and they wont believe me but i know Mosley is too experienced for Berto,Berto never faced any opposition like Mosley and Mosley have been to several Wars with tougher opponents than Berto.

If Shane Mosley's right hand wasn't so powerful, I would say berto would for sure make it all 12. I think a knockout is possible, but not likely.

well I think Mosley's chance on Knocking Berto out depends on Berto's chin. Berto is nowhere near the veteran in taking those big shots but his clinching would save him. Mosley though has the disadvantage of age and ring rust.
Considering all things, I'd gamble on a late KO by Azucar.

Berto has a chance since he's talented and a young hungry fighter with such handspeed and accuracy but he has no chance in hell to shock a fighter like Shane. If Mosley's last fight wasn't the Margo affair, you could look at Berto's performances and say: Oh well, anything can happen when you are facing a guy like Berto... BUT and this is a big but, Shane absolutely beat the s*** out of a iron chinned warrior in Tony. Shane extends his left jab, paws a lil bit but keeps em at bay and then clips them with all his balance and muscle power on the turn - if you don't get tagged with his massive right hand, you take a str8 left from the other side and a horsekick left hook ( remember Vargas plus Mayo plus Margo) so Berto's not gonna absorb those... Berto can pot shot Shane with a jab and a right uppercut like he did against Urango but he can't stay and take it... Actually I'm pretty sure, Shane will keep him at distance, flurry him at the end of his fists where berto can't reach him and bang the drum inside until Andre gets all his wind out... No, I don't think Berto can last the distance and the reason he took this fight it's cause he can't afford to lose the train on possible big money fights at this weight class. Shane highlight reel fashion and that's it!

I see a TKO stoppage. Mosley is going to make Berto pay for his mistakes.
