He's a throw-back dude, but I am curious if he's back to juicing or using unforseen enhancing materials that enable him to look more pumped than usual......... He's doing well at age 37, however, speed and legs tend to drop off around then too....... Mosley is NOT a power-puncher; he's a boxer / puncher........ Hard to come off better to a fightin' fan. I judged him pretty harshly for the EPO, but this just makes me melt. No bull****, n politics, just fighting the best. I think DLH will go into the history books as a better rated fighter, but in my opinion, Mosley was always a shade better.
Because guys like Toney and Mosley seemingly do NOT know when to quit while they are ahead........ They've done plenty.... Why take the one fight too many and become a mockery of your once great self??? Toney is already becoming a serious mockery that shouldn't be, and I feel Mosley will shows his age in the next fight or two if he fights a young, skilled warrior with power and finess........ It's never nice to see fighters fighting over the hill, but Toney and Mosley are slightly different. One fights obese, the other as of right now is the number one in his weight class.
i like Mosley old throwback fighter and a nice imnterview in Ring recently also Mosley does best against guys there to hit, Mayweather is a bad match up for Shane
Yeah, as much as I like Mosley, I gotta say that the younger Mayrunner would edge him here in 2009, and for sure in 2010...... Mosley must see that as well, but, he'd take the monster purse for such a risk and probable loss to Mayrunner........ MR.BILL:|
That's right, Floyd is a bad match up for anyone to be fair though. Maybe the Vernon Forrest type woul've been a pain for him, Vernon himself said the way to beat a speedster is with a good jab. Bigger man as well, though not as good as Myweather ultimately. Who knows?
Yes... But fat or not.... I have seen Toney dip big time since age 38..... The last three yrs, Toney has been struggling, starting with his '06 fight with Hasbeen Rahman on HBO at a gross 237 pounds....... As for his new win over a bum named 'Greer' who was 12-5 (?) KO's, really didn't prove anything..... In-shape or not, at age 37 and at 147 pounds, Mosley will encounter problems with the likes of "Clottey or Mayrunner" for sure.......... Hell, even a slipping Cotto prolly still has enough youth and gas to beat Mosley again by a hair decision.... Other than that, all the other "Lesser" dogs at 147 would still lose to Mosley in 2009........... BUT! 2010 will be a tricky year for Mosley..... MR.BILL:thumbsup
