You see, Mosley owns a WBA belt and they simply make up rules as they go along. As such, Mosley is the WBA super champ. Now WBA rules state that you need to be a unified champ in order to get the super champ designation, but they don't care about their own rules. Anyway, as the super champ, Mosley only has to fight a mando once every 18 months.

You're absolutely right. I've looked over the WBA, WBC,IBF, and WBO rules. The WBC rules are the craziest. They pretty much have the authority to do whatever they want. They might as well not have any rules. The WBA simply ignores their rules. The WBOs rules are nonsensical and even contradictory in some instances. The IBF has solid rules. However, they have one strange rule where the champ gets stripped of his belt if his mando goes to purse bid and no one bids one it.

I think Vyacheslav Senchenko (the "regular WBA welter champ") will act as Mosley's secretary and take care of the mandatories...

Floyd is the number 1 ranked WBA WW.

    So Floyd is his mando.

It just happened to Caballero. His mando didn't put in a bid during the purse bid, neither did the no.2 conteneder. Cab was stripped and now his original mando who didn't participate in the purse bid will fight for the vacant title.

You're right, the IBF has done some nice things lately. The four man HW mini-tourney to establish Povetkin as #1 was tremendous. But, **** like this just makes you want to scream WHY!
