see Floyd wont fight like that you know back and forth..you know he doesnt fight like that and he has the endurance to do so ya kno.

So i dont think just bein all offensive will work...i honestly think the fighter to beat floyd will have to out box him and make Floyd be the agressor so Floyd can't rack up on counter points or pot shots....they have to beat fFloyd at his own FIGHT....agressors tire, leave to many openings after attack and dont hit Floyd enough...they just dont work...you will have to beat Floyd at his own game.

We will agree to disagree... I fully believe Floyd is very hittable... Hoya and Hatton had recent success... What they didn't posses was the motivation, skill, speed , and power, that Shane will come with.... Some say Floyds armor doesn't have a clink. I say he hasn't fought the right Knight, soldier, warrior......Apache

You see .... All great fighters meet other great fighters at one point in their careers... What I'm trying to tell you is that Shane has all the goods to make Floyd have to fight or retreat for 12. Floyd can outland him... but he CAN'T OUTGUN him... Shane has never tired and I would't expect it now...Will Shane eat some shots YES.... But he will land enough to balance and overturn that...

Hatton got beat up!!! he put up 1 hell of a fight though in that happening...Only point is Mosley is much bigger, much stronger, much faster than Hatton could ever imagine..

If you look at some parts of the hatton fight, you will see flyd hates being pressured to much, on the odd occasion that the ref allowed hatton to rough floyd up, he was very uncomfortable.
Now in my opinion, shane is a much stronger fighter than hatton.
Depending on who the ref is, its a tactic that someone like shane could use to great effect against floyd.
He doesnt like to be bullied, and i think thats what shane will do very well.

I don't see either guy knocked out. I mean Floyd has no chance at all to knock Mosley. And Floyd is tough and has the best defense. So I see the fight ending with endless disputes on the forum. Because Mosley pressed the action but Floyd was a little bit more accurate. If Mosley wants to win the fight he should press Floyd all night long putting his fast combos behinds his jab. His chin can take Floyd punches but he must hurt Floyd at some point. If he can't do it he is probably going to lose a very close decision in the name of a future Pac-Floyd mega fight.

I feel so dumb for asking but seeing as I haven't seen the fight i'll have to: what do Castillo do in their fight that made so many people claim he'd done enough to edge it?

Everytime someone goes in with one fixed strategy, like you're all suggesting Shane does, they have a limited amount of early success and then get found out as Floyd adjusts and hits his rhythym.

If Mosley's to win this he needs to keep Floyd guessing. I'd like to see him try and take it to Floyd early and get inside but if he does that all night Floyd will work him out, catch his shots on hand and shoulder, and nail him on the counter, stepping back/sideways, everytime. Floyd isn't used to being in there with someone with a longer reach. Let's see how he hanldes things if Shane stands back for periods. Mosley is fast enough to catch Floyd coming in if he forces him to.

We already know Mayweather can handle constant pressure in his face (from the Hatton fight) and we know he can handle being pursued round the ring with big shots being thrown (from the De la Hoya fight).

In my opinion. He needs to be workin on holdin his Gloves high and catchin punches. Walkin and RUNNIN Floyd down and yes i said runnin kus if you just walk floyd down all night you will get pot shot all night. Mix up his punches. Throw punches to make floyd react not to hit him. (Set him up). Something that Mosely is horrible at. He just uses that pawin jab.
