    An excerpt from today's final press conference before the big showdown:

    [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Mosley stepped up to the microphone grinning and brimming with confidence. “I’m ready to go! I respect Miguel Cotto. He’s an excellent fighter. And I know Cotto is not someone I’m going to get in [the ring] and play ‘paddycake’ with.” Mosley then elaborated on his earlier comments that the legend and spirit of the late Diego Corrales would be with him on Saturday night. “Diego was such a great warrior and he will be with me. I’ll have [a tribute to] Diego Corrales on my shorts. With Diego on my side, how can I lose?” Mosley, with his 1500 kilowatt smile lighting up the dais, seemed more than eager to ‘get it on’: “This is a history-making fight. I just can’t wait to get there and do my stuff and I know Cotto wants to do the same. I wish we could go right to the fight right now, but I guess we can wait three days.”[/FONT]

    All the more reason to go for Shane, a modern legend giving props to another modern legend.

    I read some stuff as well. The Mosley's and the Corrales's were very close. They went straight to Las Vegas to see Diego's wife when they got the call.

    Ah man. Sorry Cotto. I got to route for Shane now. ****, he just won me over with that. If he fights with the heart and spirit of Corrales, thats some powerful stuff.

    Mosley and Corrales were close. When I took this pic it was in pasadena and mosley was there with chico, his wife and fam.

    Exactly, he's a respectful person and a gentleman in and out of the ring. One of the fighters that made me a boxing fan(Mike Tyson being the other).
