Mosleys win against Margo?

Mosley won all the rounds....Total domination. Margarito would have to be a completely different fighter...This won't happen.

 

Margo got knocked out b/c he has no skills and no talent, and Mosley is a great fighter.

 

Mosley came up on the west coast. He made his career fighting and defeating the mexican style since day one. Remember he was knocking out dudes left and right at lightweight. Well, a lot of those guys were mexicans. Margarito is just a bigger stronger very durable version.

 

I cant believe people are calling for a rematch. Margarito lost every secound of every round. Would you want a rematch of DLH-Pacquiao or Trinidad-Hopkins ?

 

of course it had something to do with it....imagine knowing u just got caught cheating and the whole world would know it and ur career will forever be tainted...u actually think that was not on his mind at all...I bet on mosely to win the fight but it had to on margo's mind ....

 

he fought with no spirit because he just got caught CHEATING!!!!

 

although i can see why some people would lend credence to theories as to why margo got completely whooped....i think shane and nazim just had a plan to exploit the many flaws in margs game(most astute observers could see them)...but alot of people were caught up in the margs hype/whirlwind after cotto...remember nazim saying "if you say hes a beast let him be a beast on sunday morning too" or somehting like that...they knew they were going to beat the brakes off margs

 

NO! Mosley showed up in perfect shape and with the right plan. Even with the casts Margo would have lost this one. He couldn't hit Mosley, so the casts were irrelevant.

 

I think Shane imagined that Margo was Jinn.

Yeah. Mosley did have that extra aggression and took it out on Margarito. Some of Shanes punches were just plain old street fighting punches.. He beat Margarito not in a boxing way but in a straight up ****ing him up kind of way.

 

I think it's possible that Marg was very uncomfortable and was thinking about what people were saying about him. But... I think Mosley was so dominating, I'm not sure a more focused Marg could come close to a win. I don't think so.

 

boxing is 90% mental! Margo had his mind on the controversy pre-fight! That and nazim had a great plan for shane, and shane executed!! Shane also held all night, I think tony could get some more punches in if they fought again!!! It was also reported that margarito was close to 200 pounds before his training camp for the mosley fight!! PS: I know tony got caught with illegal wraps, but shane looked like he turned the clock back 10 years, that SOB was on steroids!!! LOL seriously

 

No... reason he couldn't beat Shane was because Mosley clinched him every single time he got close and the ref didn't do **** about it. Oh well, that's how it goes in boxing. :conf

 

The handwraps definitely made a difference, Margo's main asset (not his chin or stamina) , but his ability to do damage and wear down a fighter was taken away..

Without that he probably fought differently, or when shane did feel his power he knew it was nothing...

People who can't look at Margo's past fights and see how he does massive damage to guys with Arm punches are just ignorant, in denial or blind.

This will be proven when Margo comes back, and he loses to everyone he faces... and he won't be able to hurt anyone .

Margarito could barely get a KO early in his career when he was fighting bums, then all of the sudden he starts knocking out everyone at higher levels ... wonder why ? hmmm
