Great choices. This was an excellent era for some of the lighter weight classes.

The fights were that could have happened but got away. Both fights would have been incredible to watch.

I always thought Salvador Sanchez vs. Eusebio Pedroza was 50/50. Now the Las Vegas odds would probably have favored Sanchez as he was the more known and popular star in the U.S., but on paper this looks like a toss-up to me. And while my heart says Sal, I’d pick Eusebio to edge it.

I’d make Charlie “Choo Choo” Brown and Charlie “White Lightning” Brown a straight-up pick-em. I’d favor Charlie to beat Brown.

Hagler/Hearns and Frazier/Marciano are more like 70/30 with Hagler and Frazier with the advantage

The most even match-up I can come up with off the top of my head is Duran vs Whitaker. I can't see this going without some controversy or complaint from Whitaker. I think these two together invite a disproportionate number of low blows, and, depending on how much of a factor the referee decides to be, could devolve into an ugly and unpredictable affair.

Others I'll mention fall more so in the category of close and compelling pairings, such as:
    Frazier vs Holyfield
    Bowe vs Ibeabuchi
    Duran vs Zivic
    Pendleton vs Gatti

Troy Dorsey and Jorge Paez could fight 1,000 times and it would always be a coin flip — do you like Troy’s constant (but not usually damaging/hard) punching or Paez’s bursts of bigger shots?

Likewise, Colin Jones vs. Milt McCrory seems like a matchup where they could fight 100 rounds and it would be 51-49 with us arguing over which was which.
