Jeff Horn first round KO in his 4th fight for the Australian light welterweight title against Sam Colomban. Beautiful right hand from Horn put him to sleep. This content is protected
Drop the mic, should we say? Julian Jackson, an amazing P4P puncher and 1 punch KO artist - and always aesthetic.
Ken Norton, left hook KO on Randy Stephens, 1978. Ken explained his merciful decision not to follow up after the left hook. Norton framed boxing as a job and when he landed the left hook, he knew his job was done - he saw no point in putting any further, unnecessary hurt on his opponent. Norton was always a classy guy and I think his power is a bit underrated at times. He could punch very hard on average and also pull out some absolute screamers. All in all, it was an entertaining clash between Ken and Stephens - with Norton being 35 at the time - but still passing himself off as being 2 years younger. This fight came after the classic Holmes contest and preceded Ken’s fight against Earnie Shavers in 1979 - one of Shavers’ best victories. This content is protected
Lewis over Rahman 2 had a nice Fung Shui to it! Like a padded baseball bat! Rock kept putting up and out his arms, so Lennox swooped the lethal right curving shot around the arms! Rocks head landed in the crown advertisement on the ring mat! Also Miguel Cotto over Kelson pinto was pretty sweet, an accumulation of punches in bunches finishing off with a lethal left hook to the body of the Brazilian.
Not an oldie, but definitely a goodie: Junto Nakatani's sensational left hand which sent Andrew Moloney to the shadow realm in the twelfth This content is protected
