Some of my favorties: Muhammad Ali (the smoothest, slickest looking punches) Pac (combos) Gamboa (combos) Tyson
I also liked RJJ and Calzaghe. At their best it was like throwing punches was 2nd nature. Just instantly react with the right punch or punches.
Most aesthetically pleasing punching technique / combination wise would be: Joe Louis Alexis Arguello Ricardo Lopez Felix Trinidad Carlos Zarate Edwin Rosario Juan Manuel Marquez Jose Napoles Michael Carbajal Yuri Arbachakov Orlando Canizales Donald Curry Azumah Nelson
Normally, I am not a fan of counter punchers but Juan Manuel Marquez made it look beautiful. The man was a master counter puncher.
Cause he is still mexican so its agressive counterpunching. Guy was like picking a lock and figuring you out troughout the fight. Hos fight with Dias was a perfect example of that. Also foty in 09
Ali was the first that popped into my head and I can't think of anyone better at the moment. Agree 100% the absolute slickest, smoothest, most 'beautifully conceived' punches (to borrow a phrase from Larry Merchant) ever thrown. I've never seen a human body perform the action so naturally - his punches look as though they don't even disturb the air around his fists.
For me Loma is right up there. Exceptional delivery system, not always a lot of power transfered but accuracy and quantity landed is one of the best I've seen.
Of those who haven't been mentioned yet Always loved how fluidly and effortlessly McCallum put punches together And prime Wlad who probably won't get a mention had really good technique
