Jose Napoles. Loved the rhythm and the smoothness of it all. It just seemed to...flow I guess.

My first post. I remember Buddy McGirst v Simon Brown . Can't find the fight anywhere now ,but thought at the time it was a work of art by Buddy.

I got sick of watching Toney taking off 2:30 of a round, landing a couple flurries and having everyone proclaim his greatness.

Used to worship the guy, but too many shitty, boring performances.

Granted he has more tricks than a Sunday hooker.

His shorts just looked so stupid though, especially with his long skinny legs. The same goes for Buchanen and some of these other old fighters. NO, I'm not saying the superlong, baggy ones like Lewis wore were better, not at all. At least they wore the protector low enough, so it didnt make the torso look all squished. Ideally, you want a knee length short with a protector worn low enough to not be visible over the wasitband.

I thought the shorts highlighted his style and physique and made him look sophisticated and dangerous in a way, like some kind of mythic afro-greek warrior. But that's just me :D
