    The key is finding fighters that no one or a very tiny minority dislike.

    Ivan Calderon should be HIGH up there on the list. No way you can't love this guy and respect him like no other.

    Wonjongkam might make the list.

    Probably Maidana and Matthysse might crack a consensus top 10. I have read very few who dislike the guys. Many appreciate and like their slugger mentality.

    I don't know if people have followed him enough, but a guy like Joseph Agbeko carries a lot of the traits which SHOULD get him on a list like this.

    Up until this past November, Juan Manuel Marquez was a shoe in for the top of the list. Now, all of a sudden, one third of the boxing world hates him because he fought too well in his last fight.

    The love that Pacquiao gets from his people is the epitome of fanaticism. I mean they voted him into congress. Crime is down to zero when his fights are on. He's got to be one of the most beloved boxers without a doubt.

    Tito Trinidad

    Women really got turned on to De La Hoya and were actually more excited about boxing than their men when he was fighting.

    That's three I genuinely have love in my heart for.Much as I respect Chavez as a fighter,I could never take to him,so I'd exclude him from my list.
    I assume we're banned from going back to the 80's?
