If you can, try to include a clip showcasing the comedy for all to view

also don't mention Ali vs Liston 2 I call dibs.

Danny Green vs. Paul Briggs is the undisputed GOAT dive - even the winner was pi$$ed about it.

    Other examples:

Gans-McGovern - Gans just flops from punches that sail over his head.

Pep-Perez - On the last KD, you can see Pep thinking, "Should I go down from that one? yes, I think I will."

Hairston-Young - "and the Oscar goes to..."

    Ali - Liston II
Even if Ali would've won without the fix.

Everyone knows Wilder-Scott, and I would say Wilder-Harrison as well.

Now for Harrison. Jump to the replay 10 seconds in, where you can see Harrison scream in terror....as if he was not expecting to actually be hit! Then he goes down, and Wilder flails harmlessly at him for a few seconds, whiffing with every punch, until the ref stops it! Deontay is still swinging at him...and missing...while he slumps to the canvas from not being hit, and rather than issue a warning, the ref wavs it off in one of the most ridiculous spectacles in sports history.

Wilder-Scott is generally considered to have been a dive, and the few hold out I think saw the light when Scott became Wilder's trainer. It shocks me that more people don't realize that Wilder-Harrison was a fix.

Gans-McGovern is almost comical, Gans sometimes just plops down without being punched.

I am NOT saying it was fixed, but I find the Saad Muhammad vs Conteh 2 a weird fight, and Conteh wanted to get out of there. I think most likely he had some issues (injuries) and wanted to end it soon and go home.

My suspicion has always been that Conteh didn't really want the rematch, but was reluctantly compelled to accept it by all the uproar in the UK over the controversy in the 1st fight (Saad's people using an illegal substance to close his cuts).

When you read his book Conteh says he was a mere shell and new he was finished and admitted it was the only time he ever went into a fight in fear of his safety.

To me this was a case of him giving his all the first time against MSM, falling short and it was a last hooray. He couldn’t summon that effort (or courage) again and knew it, so he knew the outcome was going to be worse the second time around.

A case of a fighter defeated before the first bell. I think the first round iirc he tried and once Mathew asserted himself John know ‘I don’t have anything to fend him off, time to go home.’
