That's the answer.
No. It really wasn't.
Klitschko vs Fury has to be up there
That was like the Fight of the Century in comparison to Ruiz-Oquendo.
I believe the ref waived it off in the 11th when the first punch of the fight landed
I remember breathing a sigh of relief in anticipation of Byrd-Golota.
Jermain Taylor Vs Cory Spinks
The only thing entertaining was Emmanuel Stewerd screaming at Jermain Taylor, ‘I wish you fought Miranda’. R.I.P. Manny!
I admired Hakkar after the fight because to me, he did all he could do against a legend. But overall it wasnt the best fight. To me it was like Roy Jones Jr. Vs. Clinton Woods? Poor lads couldnt do anything but at least they tried.
Nelson, or Ingle must have had a wicked sense of humour to use that as a nickname.
Odd thing is, I can’t recall any of the commentators, having the irony, to point out the ridiculous moniker!
Fury vs Chisora 1
Fury vs Chisora 2 (which is why i didnt watch the 3rd)
Okolie vs Askin
Bellew vs Cleverly. I cant remember if it was 1 or 2 that was diabolical though. I think it was 2.
Yes, an inexplicably tame effort from Banks, after completely exposing the football? player. Can’t recall questions being raised at the time, but a suspicious non-effort. I think he went back to his trainer’s job after that, lucky to get it back!
All boxers are brave to get in the ring at all but Nelson always gave the impression he was scared to get hit. Anyone who stays out of range and then grabs and holds has a bit of that in them.
I had a nightmare about a rematch between Casimero v Rigondeaux about a week ago.
Wow two undefeated Americans battling for unified status amazing right? no power clinch headbutt fest with a quit job.
Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Joseph Agbeko
Hopkins vs. Jones 2
I just saw Johnny Nelson today for the first time, against Ives Monsieur. Nelson reminded me of Thomas Hearns the way he used his height and jab, minus, of course, Hearns legendary power and hunger.
The problem wasn't Nelson, who won the fight by an eighth round technical knockout. The problem was Monsieur, as Monsieur Monsieur was not throwing back!!!!
