You're absolutely right. I didn't like the way the fight was billed and hyped as 'The fight That Would Save Boxing'. Pfffft, Boxing had plenty of great fights that year so they didn't need "saving" from these two overpaid pricks. In fact, the fight probably did boxing a great disservice and actually turned much more fans away than it attracted. :-(

Lewis Tyson. Horrible ****ing mismatch in which I watched Tyson get battered around the ring while looking to land one punch. The amount of hype that fight got was ridiculous

Hopkins has been in alot of great fights.

Trinidad, Johnson, Echols 1 and 2, Allen 2, Joppy, Mercardo 1 and 2, and Lipsey.

It wasn't a hyped fight but Spinks/Taylor was REALLY bad. Pavlik/Miranda on the under was amazing, and then we got that piece of **** for the main event. Otherwise Wlad/Iggy was a disgrace, and Tito/DLH never lived up to the hype

DLH-Mayweather was a colossal dissapointment for the amount of hype it received.

Learn how to score a fight mate. Lewis dominated the first match throwing twice as many punches and landing 3 times as many. How is that a draw?

    Worst Fight
    --------------------
    Spinks-Taylor

Most experts felt going in that this was going to be a bad fight between two fighters whose styles did not at all mesh with each other. But this fight exceeded all their expectations in its suckitude.

    Most Over-hyped fight
    -------------------
    DLH - Mayweather

It's not that it was a bad fight. It was just hyped to the point of ridiculousness with that "Fight the world waited for" stuff.

    Most boring: TOS-Byrd, Spinks-Taylor, Wlad-Ibragimov.

Most over-hyped: De la Hoya-Mayweather. It worked, though, because it broke the PPV records.
