Dubois is the right call. Nothing more than an overgrown child. As dull as a Monday in January.

But you know that's because of his father, he's more scared of him than anyone he will ever face in the ring.

There was a good interview with Caroline somewhere on YouTube about why she had to walk away.

Daniel is still under his spell, and that's what emotional abuse does to people, even the Heavyweight champion is stuck trapped in freeze/fawn, in certain situations.

What's your side hustle? I respect anyone that chases money without taking the pee along the way.

Ok, that's 3 and out for you.

    Adios

I should have blocked you yesterday when you couldn't string a coherent sentence together, yet were slamming the former editor of the boxing news.

Boxing is arguably the most brutal sport of all, it churns fighters on a conveyor belt at an extremely rapid rate, as you saw when King didn't hesitate in stepping over Fraizer to get to Foreman, despite arriving with Joe he left with George.

Thus, I am with and support anyone who is a fan of someone like Dubois, who has evolved into a real fighter. It's why I will always look at people like Hearn, Kugan, Parsons, et al., and even Bosh Sr, to a certain extent, as greedy opportunist chancers, no matter the time and effort they might put in.

That is probably why @Aydamn gets so heated about Dillian Whyte. We become emotionally invested in the people we support, somewhat similar to family members, leading to a bittersweet, love-hate relationship with the sport. Two fighters I have met in the past and got to know on a certain level were Paul Ingle and as I have mentioned before Michael Watson, both of whom had immense talent, yet that wasn't enough when you look at how their careers played out. Add that to having a grandad who went 19-0 as a pro, before a detached retina curtailed his career and you can see how the conversations often take the route they do.

This will lead to second-order effects, where in my case I had a grandad who had immense trauma, due to his dreams being crushed, which was compounded by the generational trauma he was already carrying, from having a sociopathic father himself, who was living through his son as his own professional career didn't quite pan out as well as his womanising ways, and thus further tragic events not long after, meant when Grandad had kids, my father evolved with traits that on a good day would score 36 on Robert Hare Psychopath test and 40 on a bad day.

Hence, why I will always take someone like Dubois any day over fast-talking promoters and fast-tracked lesser talented prospects who externally look and act the part, along with their ass-licking sycophantic flying monkeys, and idiotic see-through trolls on boxing forums and social media platforms. Who essentially have no skin in the game, which will always show in how they present, sell, and conduct themselves as people.

Thus those who know, really know, and on a level that those who don't will understand nor recognise, fortune, though favours the brave and people all always eventually find their own tribe by fair means or foul.

@boxberry92 You hit the nail on the head. That's exactly it.

The intelligence you displayed in that post was refreshing.

Wish I could give your post two likes.

It's an incredibly brutal sport, especially for guys like Whyte who wished to remain a free agent and spend less time around shark promoters and middle men.

Punters can be overly harsh when critiquing boxers that genuinely go out there and have a go, and try to entertain the crowd. Not just in it for themselves.

And in between the training, stepping in the ring against killers, and contending with the mainstream media who want to tear you apart for ratings... it all adds up... for a boxers mental health. You got people in the industry that want to stab you in the back, play favourites etc etc

I figured Whyte as one of the good ones, wanted to give us entertainment and take on real challenges (where a deal could be made) despite his lack of boxing experience and having to learn on the job and train on a damp garage early on with No Team GB training facilities.

I will always have a soft spot for Whyte and felt he had AJ's number, not necessarily in the ring but as a person. Every extrovert I knew from when AJ turned over was a big fan of his and would call me crazy for suggesting he was a bully and didn't have the minerals for deep water.

Plus, who you're a fan of will also depend on how a person accesses their entertainment and engages with it. I am a reader, always have been, always will be; others are the complete opposite and will actively engage with the latest app.

Nothing wrong with either, and I thought Parson's was good on the show yesterday, better than Maya Jama, but they all attract a different audience based on what kind of thinker you are and how you feel in the moment.

What I now do not tolerate, though, is the actions and traits associated with NSPs, primarily due to past experiences. I will just cut them off and out of my life at the source, along with any flying ******'s.

Banter and differing opinions I can take all day long; in fact, that's often how people grow, as the back and forth gets the brain into gear.
