What is the most brutal knockdown you've ever seen? knock down meaning that the fighter got up to fight on, and not knocked out. like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li0mJYvrYTU mosley didnt know his own name for the 10 rounds that followed
Not a bad choice at all. I remember a fight Jason Litzau had on ESPN a few summers back, where he got up from a knockdown that was just sickening, and he was out on his feet for the next two rounds. I half expected blood to start coming out of his eyes.
Well, the knockdown must have not been that brutal, otherwise the guy wouldn't have gotten up, right? But...I'll play along. If I remember correctly, Domminick Guinn hit Michael Grant with an hellacious shot, but Grant still got up. I can't recall any besides that...now, if you say most exciting knockdown, that's a different story. I was at a bar watching the De La Hoya-Mayorga fight, and I will never forget the electricity in that place when Oscar dropped Mayorga in the first round. It was chilling.
its an obvious pick but how about Tysons knockdown of Douglas? "Boom!" - hell of an uppercut http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5g7WHQwpaY
dude Im gonna stop after this one because it really is kinda like shootin fish in a barrel but how about Mclellans first round Knockdown of Nigel Benn as well (at the 3 minute mark here) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxZdYsU4AXA
**** me that was awesome! Its knockdowns though not knockouts, dont see him gettin up from that dude! :nut
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpdeONftgaA "That referee let it go too far... the guy could been killed right there."
Not as good as some mentioned but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrs6....swf?key=veoh16584353&feature=player_embedded The first knockdown especially not this sure if this video shows it but from another angle when you see Moorer take 5 really hard shots when he was already really hurt it's surprising he got up ...hell of a fight.
Moorer Vs. Cooper was awesome... THX for the reminder it's been a minute. (since I seen that footage) Makes me wanna break out the old VHS tapes... TVKO PPV's were the ****.
