Most brutal trash talk of all time

Far from the most brutal, but Tarver-Jones I is probably my favourite.

 

When Victor and pbfm were jibbing and jabbing, Victor let Floyd grip his throat, he was so obsessed over the staredown, that he forgot there was a hand on his neck!

 

Arreola was a big fat bum.

 

Fury vs Wlad. That gloves are off discussion was some of the best psychological warfare.

Also naz vs Kelly and Mayorga vs everyone but especially Oscar.

 

Mayorga was the worst! I remember when he smacked Mosley's girlfriend on the ass at their pre conference but probably the worst thing said was when he told Cory Spinks he was going to send him to be with his recently deceased mother and brother. That was just beyond ugly.

Glad he lost both of those fights. He was/is a real piece of ****.

 

Fury vs Cunningham press conference was epic

I remember the first time I watched it I couldn’t believe how bad Fury Destroyed him

 

To be honest, most of these fighters are so dumb their trash talk tends to fall flat and has little effect. Arreola did well there, though. He made a coherent argument and some cutting points. Seth was also impressed, because he was vigorously nodding the whole time. Chris is quite an honest guy and honesty can hurt. I remember the time he was interviewed by ES about his new child and he said he was relieved that it was brown. He was worried if it looked too whitish the Mexican-Americans wouldn't accept it. That took courage, I think, addressing the issue of racial prejudice in his community. Chris was always a guy who said it how it is.

 

My most iconic trash talking moment was seconds before the fight, "any excuses tonight Roy", that **** was iconic.

 

Mike Tyson said some crazy ish.

Mayorga really went in and got under Oscar's skin too, think he called his wife a *****. Oscar was really, heated for that fight. I still vividly remember Oscar's face when he dropped Mayorga in round 1. He looked like he legit wanted to kill him.

 

It is not the trash talk jibes with your name written on them you gotta fear, it is those 2 gloved fists that come fight night will be incoming on your head, with to whom it may concern written upon them that you gotta worry about.

Any professional boxer should nigh on laugh at trash talkers, i sure as hell would rather face a talker than have a Tyson, Liston or young Foreman staring me down.
