Margarito is reletively the WW champ now,plus Baldomir was reletively unknown too

 

Margo is now the top dog. Baldomir was unknown but he did beat Judah for the Lineal Championship. I gaurentee if Margo was the Lineal Champion and Baldomir was the WBO champion, Floyd wouldn't have fought Baldomir.

 

Margarito is more known now than Baldomir, thanks to a big win in a PPV fight with one of the bigger names in the sport in Cotto.

Baldomir had a somewhat decent name in 2006 after upsetting Judah and beating Gatti on HBO.

HBO pushed the Mayweather-Baldomir. I think HBO preferred Mayweather-Mosley, and tried to push that fight, but Mosley's "dental problems" (Oscar says he wants to fight PBF) made that fight unmakeable.
