Haye has the handspeed and power, the big question is, would he also have the mental coolness to deliver? Fighters who talk themselves up before a Klitschko fight by calling the Klitschkos robotic, saying it will be easy to beat them (Haye said Wlad would he is easiest fight) usually end up freezing in the first round when those jabs land on their faces. Haye has huge talent but is very unpolished as a fighter and his experience of a tough fight is with 5'9 cruiserweights like Fragomeni or Mormeck. If Haye had fought more often, taken 5 - 6 fights against contenders like Holyfield did when he moved up from cruiser, it would be a different story. After Wlad prevailed against Peter, he had a whole new level of confidence and calmness in the ring. Haye was nervous against Barrett and timid against Valuev, I don't see how he suddenly will have the right combination of aggression and calmness against Wlad.

that is a good point , I still beleive attack is the way to unsetlle Wlad but his mental game is much improved since the Peter fight

the poll result really comes to show what a huge brit cheerleader fan base we have here, the genuine heavies chambers and povetkin have less than 10 votes combined while cruiserweight haye has got 43, that hasnt got anything to do with knowledge or analysing skills thats sheer haye cheerleading.

That in itself is just your opinion.

I have studied each of the fighters and voted for the one I felt had the most chance. Haye.

It all depends on which Klitschko one of these fighters face. If we are talking about Wlad then I'd say Povetkin, Haye, then Chambers have the best chance of pulling the upset. If we're talking Vitaly then I'd go Haye, Chambers, and Povetkin.

..who happens to be a brit same as you and same as the man in your avatar.

I have no problem with partizanship but one should admit it its laughable you claim you came to that conclusion after having "studied" matters, yes sure, thats why you re running around starting haye threads all over the place and see vitali "ripe for the taking" etc admit it you re a haye fan and want him to be successful cos hes a countryman of yours. i bet you were a Hatton fan in his days and eubank and benn before that, why, theres nothing wrong with it as long as one can keep things in perspective

Cos you were a cal fan you see the need to downgrade Ottkes achievemens and because you re a haye fan you have a problem with the KLitschkos dominating the scene
Ive seen these patterns all too often

I see your point but I'm not sure I agree.

The one thing Haye showed me in the Valuev fight was that he has the ability to stick to a gameplan. In all of his other fights, he showed a tendancy to get too involved and trade punches. It led to him being knocked down several times against lesser fighters and would have led to defeat against Valuev.

Fighting either Klitschko is obviously a much different proposition but Haye at least showed that he can be disciplined for 12 rounds.

I disagree somewhat with you saying Wlad has shown a lot of calmness post-Peter. I think he still looks flustered if an opponent hits him or puts any meaningful pressure on him. I think one of Wlad's main strengths though, is that he has a tremendous aptitude to avoid being put in that position. He fights at his own pace and recent opponents have found it almost impossible to disrupt his rhythm and make him uncomfortable, which I think is the key to beating him

Over on B-scene, they have quotes from Vitali saying a "preliminary agreement" is in place for him to fight Haye next year so it looks like that will be the one we see first.
