Brawls constantly starting in the stands during the 12 rounds of action in the ring, the fighters in the ring hitting each other after the bell on more than 1 occasion; ethnic fans attacking Marines in the color guard which escalated big-time; one fighter's cornerman getting ejected by the referee, and...the guy who looked to be winning is ROBBED from being champ following judges' verdict. Imagine being in the midst of such a nervous-like atmosphere in that arena; that's the synopsis of the Ruiz-Golota bout which eerily was a reminder of Bowe-Golota I and The Riot years earlier in the same arena! Worst of all Andrew was ROBBED. Just crazy. Can anyone think of another similar boxing night of craziness in the ring and outside of a fight not involving Golota? Chavez-De la hoya-I?

The Bowe-Golota riot in Madison Square Garden was wild. Jim Lampley on air getting choked up because he lost his daughter in the crowd. George Foreman, still with his microphone live, holding guys down trying to keep them from entering the ring.

The "fan man" crashing into the lights above the ring during Bowe-Holyfield II and the subsequent chaos afterward was crazy to watch live. Bowe's pregnant wife fainting and having to be carried out.

After Tyson-Holyfield II, when Tyson was disqualified and a riot broke in the ring and ringside, apparently there was chaos because people thought shots were fired in the casino as people were emptying out of the MGM Grand arena (lots of gangbangers there to support Tyson), and the casinos were shut down for a while to make sure everything was okay. (This was like a year after Tupac got shot after Tyson-Seldon).

Just a few that spring immediately to mind.

Oh, David Haye "glassing" Derek Chisora at the postfight press conference after Chisora just went 12 with Vitali.

    That was nuts.

Good input, seems like in general lots of such events involve Tyson and Golota (I believe a trainer being ejected as Norman Stone from the Ruiz corner during Ruiz-Golota has never happened before). MSG stopped boxing for a while also after the Bowe-Golota Riot. Craziness.

Mike Tyson biting Lennox Lewis' leg at their fight announcement, and Tyson crying and telling a reporter he was going to **** him until he loved him.

I remember when Valuev took the title from Ruiz, Stone ran back into the ring after Valuev was being interviewed and grabbed the belt from Valuev, and Valuev's team began fighting Stone.

    Norman Stone was nuts.

Weren't beer bottles tossed after Chavez Jr. recently quit against Jacobs?

I believe so, they really scorned Junior that night. It reminded me of the way Golota was treated after quitting against Tyson.

Right?! That was insane! Do you know much about the behavior of Golota's fans at fights? His fans were supposedly as wild as he was, during the Ruiz bout they attempted a physical assault on Marines in the color guard.

Mike also told Lewis, I am Going To Eat Your Children, funny Lennox at that time had no children. Maybe he is a leg person. I would like to see him at a Thanksgiving Dinner, I Would Like A Leg Please. Ha Ha

This. For those that haven't read it, The Four Kings is worth the money just for its description of that night in London. Apparently vendors were selling people not one or two beers at a time, but CRATES. Whole crates per person at a time. In glass %#$&*@ bottles. What numb head dreamt that up?

Of course, it ended in the third so they had lots of ammo left over at that point, as it's artfully written in the book.

Besides glossing Chisora, Haye hit someone with a folding chair! Crazy. I wonder if Chisora needed stitches.
