Got to say JML stating the referee having gambling problems is a first! Was wondering what is the most common excuse you've heard to describe a loss?

First to come to mind is over/under trained, trouble making weight.............

Poisoned, ill/being ill, under/overtrained, weight problem, injury..

    Others:

    - My father would have gotten credit if I had won.

    - Ash cloud.

    - Jetlag.

he stopped me ... its maybe true I was unconscious but I don't remember this
so the stoppage was premature and I was comfortably winning on points to this point!

:rofl:rofl:rofl My favorite of all time.

Bad judging is the top excuse. I also like "I thought I could continue, but...."

Didnt stick to the game plan, and/or referee wouldn't let me execute my gameplan, i.e. usually holding / fighting on the inside (usually a Joe Cortez fight).

I used this as an amatuer, the joke was on me as I had actually broke my hand. :-(

Over trained is common, as is blaming the weight cut.

Weight drain, injuries, and not taking the fight as seriously as one should have are all common excuses. My favorite, however, is from the king of excuses, Roid Jones Jr. "I didn't try to win because I didn't want my dad getting credit". What a joke he is.:rofl:patsch
