According to boxrec: lightweight's the most common weight class (closely followed by welterweight)... But maybe boxrec does not count every boxer or something? In such case my point is this: The champion in lightweight should be regarded as the best - or at least as one of the very best on the P4P list. What do you think?
ok, I was curious, average male height in the world is 173 cm (Floyd) So I suspected that some of the lower classes should be the most common. And if one is the most common, logically it should also be the hardest competition there. Strange if Lightweight is so bad then. Also athletes in heavier classes should go for other sports like basketball, football instead if they wanna make money - not an option for a small guy.
