Most consistent dirty behaviour not called by the ref?

Leaning on opponents and excessive holding. It doesn't do as much damage as other forms of dirty fightng so it is overlooked the most I think. Stepping on feet to limit mobility is another low key tactic that seems to be overlooked.

Honestly, Agbeko must have balls of steel as those were dick shots by Mares. Appalling.

 

It's the only fight where the refereeing is that bad I can't give any credit to the winner. None.

 

Referee Jackie Silvers during the title defense of champion Muhammad Ali on March 29 1966 against challenger George Chuvalo. It was apparent that Chuvalo as likeable as he is did hit Ali many times past the belt line for 15 rounds, Ali constantly complained to Silvers during that fight in Canada.

 

Speaking of low blows @Jel the referee in Lomachenko vs Salido fight was a disgrace aswell. Just look at this footage for yourself, people like to discredit Lomacheno for this loss. Even though it was only his 2nd pro fight against a tough wily former world champion, but tend to forget how many fouls Salido committed and he should of been DQ'ed, also the referee allowed Salido hold onto Lomachenko like an octopus in last round, to survive a last round rally from Lomachenko. In which Lomacheno was somewhat close to stopping him the ref was terrible.

@Noel857 @Barrf I can't tell you how happy i was when Jhonny Gonzalez, smashed up Abner Mares in 1 round that was justice for this fight. Absolutely disgraceful referring this fight, you can't honestly tell me this referee wasn't paid off. There should of been some type of hearing on this fight, and the referee should of been fined or banned or some type of punishment.

 

Do you know if he was disciplined for this?

 

It was horrible,, the way Ali was allowed to hold Frazier in their 2nd fight was just as pathetic

 

I don't believe he was i never heard of any disciplinary action, funnily enough isn't Russell Mora the referee for the upcoming Canelo vs Bivol fight ? that kind of makes me laugh i'm not gonna lie, especially since Canelo himself has had some question marks around his career.
