i have to say that we were at the benn eubank 2 fight and most people there thought it was very close. I remember I had it a draw scoring at the fight and ive never rewatched it, but a of of people around us were murmering 'draw' before the decision.

Carlos padilla couldn't wait to jump in in leonard vs benitez. Leonard dropped benitez who easily beat the count though was clearly tired, but then leonard missed with 4 follow up shots and padilla stepped in.

the refereeing in the brook vs porter fight was shocking. he allowed brook to hold, clinch and wrestle at every exchange.

The refereeing in mayweather maidana 2 stunk too mayweather was allowed to hold, maul and elbow all night.

We know its a business but the fighters are honest competitors and deserve better.

Veteran Denny Moyer, though, out sized, exposed Monzon's vulnerability to left hooks, regularly landing, before being stopped for no reason. Yet it is laughingly listed as a knockout. I always think of this fight against Moyer when I read of Carlos' "greatness".
Harold Valan travelled to Sweden with Dundee and Ellis on the same plane for the Patterson robbery!
In more recent times Brandon Rios v Richard Abril and Tyson Fury v John McDermott (1) were inexcusable robberies

Actually the referee for Monzon-Moyer travelled to the fight with Monzon as well and even carried his luggage for him. The stoppage caused a scandal in Italy and the Italian newspapers had photos of Monzon and his hand picked referee at the airport together with the ref carrying Monzon's bags.

Always thought Dave Parriss' "performances" in Tszyu Hatton, Rogan ***ton and Barrera Khan were very corrupt.

Referee Jersey Joe Walcott was either corrupt in stopping the fight or he was a complete idiot. Either way, the results were the same.

    Marciano - Moore
Referee Harry Kessler helped Marciano when Moore knocked him down. He continued the count after Marciano got up to give him a chance to clear his head.
He also blocked Moore from closing in on Marciano after Kessler had signaled the fight to resume.

That was indeed a shocker, Reid was a clear winner, yet Ottke sports an "unbeaten" record. Reid had no more luck against Calzaghe, another "unbeaten". Consistently mugging JC with right hands, he lost the decision. Significantly, no return was granted.
That's the credibility of "unbeaten" records, are you listening Floyd?

It wasn't just the decision that was terrible in Reid-Ottke. The fat **** who refereed didn't give Reid anything approaching a fair go. He constantly warned Reid for headbutting and eventually deducted a point from him even though Ottke was more at fault with his constant lunging in. He also pulled up Reid for low blows for clearly legit body shots and even warned him for just punching Ottke in the face at one point. He never had a fukking chance.

Reid-Calzaghe was a close fight that I thought Reid just deserved but I can't fault the officiating or scoring as it was a bloody close fight.
