    Don't think I can better the mentions of Midget Wolgast and Tony Canzoneri, two cracking shouts.

    I think we have to include Muhammad Ali — some of his combos and punches in his early days were unseen before his time (at least at heavyweight) and of course he pivoted on the fly to invent the Rope-a-Dope to wear out George Foreman.

    And one must surely consider Tommy “Hurricane” Jackson, a tireless windmiller who innovated the double uppercut (throwing both hands upward together at once). Tommy was no slave to classicism.
