Satterfield's an interesting one even but Wells never beat anyone at all in the pro's. Bernardo Mercado might be a better mention.

    Liston needs to be mentioned.

Wayne Bethea (TKO1), Clevland Williams (TKO2, TKO3), Nino Valdez (TKO3), Zora Folley (KO3), and of course Floyd Patterson (KO1, KO1).

That's 7 wins against top contenders and a two-time champion that all ended inside of 3 rounds.

Lennox: Golota, Ruddock, Grant, etc... Lennox was the first to blitz quite a few fighters.

Yes , you are right.. and the thing is, they were not garbage can fighters either.

They were dangerous *******s who were world class..

He also dispatched a long string of no names before them via the early route..

Ie.. Al Malcolm, Jorge Dascola, Mike Simawelu..

Another 1 round merchent was a mister Frank Bruno.. He was a killer..

..thomas....i picked nick wells because, as requested, he is certainly obscure, a word you seem to have trouble with. yes, he went nowwhere as pro, as i mentioned. maybe you also have trouble with the word powerful. no one who saw him can deny he was a murderous one punch, one round knockoout hitter.

maybe we should come up with a new championship designation... hardest hitting most obscure one round fighter in the world, with various guys being called champion by the wbc, wba, who, aztec boxing council,wbo...etc. i think we really need more alpahabet titles.

.......john t...i thought it was eleven...but who's counting?..

apparently that ******* sanchez or whoever, with his delicate rhetorical question regarding my breakfast thinks i have been nasty to you..which i haven't, and if i was i've read enough of your posts to realize you can take care of yourself quite well, without the need of help from anyone.
