    Agree on Wlad K but not on the Tyson fights especially Berbick who tried to fight tyson man to man and just got knocked out. Might as well call floyd patterson and joe frazier a disgrace then

    If it's the most disgraceful performances then the award goes to Wlad - against Povetkin - Hands down.

    @Zakman @The Professor

    A forum turns its lonely eyes to you guys and your black book of subpar beltholder behavior.

    If we are including beltholders, Charles Martin's "defence" of his belt vs AJ was disgracefully timid.

    The quality of the opponents means that disgraceful probably isn't the right word for these, but poorest performances in the sense that they were 1) The worst result possible; 2) Very poor relative to expectations:

    • Elusive, defensive specialist, Pedlar Palmer being the first champion (I think) to lose their title by KO1, in his defence vs Terry McGovern
    • A YCIII who would go on to beat Mickey Walker, as well as the bigger Billy Conn, Fred Apostoli and Gus Lesnevich, losing his WW crown to Jimmy McLarnin, also by KO1.

    I misread the title i thought it meant most disgraceful title defenses meaning "most undeserving challengers".

    Foreman-Roman what's wrong with this? Roman showed some guts and Foreman wiped him out, no shame either side?

    A few of the choices here are a bit harsh, some of the guys had a bad night but showed guts in other fights. I think there is a difference between getting caught cold and disgracing yourself.

    He beat the most dangerous, undefeated contender out there, putting on the canvas for the first and second time in his career. Pretty great performance.
