    He didn't fold like a deck chair. He took a hell of a beating for 8 mins and didn't go down despite being terrified.

    I think you might be thinking of Tyson's next fight vs Bruce Seldon who did go down despite the punch missing and then feigning a leg wobble in case the ref made him fight on. As Colin Hart, British journalist, said after the fight 'At least our guy took his lumps.' in reference to the beating Frank took and that Seldon refused to take.

    I dont know...this was 42 years ago but I guess I can look it up.

    Ok I couldnt find anywhere that he was a mandatory.....hmnnn

    Holyfield was sharp as hell sure, but douglas just looked like a complete tub of **** and quit.

    Showing up unmotivated to your first title defence quitting is a disgrace regardless of how good holyfield was.
    Tyson showed up unmotivated as well vs douglas but he didnt just lie down at the first opportunity.
