It was clearly Wilder-Povetkin. I was really waiting to see Wilders glass jaw get shattered, but his team decided to walk away from the fight.
A couple of things I would like to know about that fight is why was there not a single press conference for that fight with only 6 days to go? There should of been at least two press conferences. Tyson Vs Wladimir had two before 6 days, even Arreola vs Wilder had a press conference one week after the fight was announced. Was there any promotion for the biggest fight of Deontay Wilder's career at all?
There's no contest, Wilder/Pedvetkin cancellation basicaly ruined the whole year. After that fight went down, boxing collapsed. I'm still hopeful for 2017. Bad luck has to have run its course.
