Akiyama has been very disappointing was hoping to see him use his Judo but he seems to enjoy getting punched in the face too much. A lot of people had him losing to Belcher as well so Sexyama with the hype he got could be sitting with no wins in the UFC good entertainment though.

Shields is for sure a China Chinned Hype Job who was the product of favorable match-ups in the bush leagues and a hefty dose of good fortune against Hendo. He was bound to be exposed and Ellenberger did a great job of that.

CroCop is definitely another one. This guy was getting insane hype for winning the OWGP and people automatically assumed that he'd just waltz in and steamroll the UFC's bums. What they didn't realize was that even the UFC's shitty HW division at that time had better people than the blown-up LHWs and Japanese cans that he feasted on to win that title and he got his glass shattered violently.

Denis Kang and Akiyama were both hyped as being legitimate and potentially dangerous contenders for Silva and look at how that went. Kang proved to be one of the biggest Glass Hearted frontrunners I've ever seen and his pathetic punch resistance was no better as evidenced by feather fisted Bisping beating him up. Akiyama has put on some exciting fights and has shown a real warrior's heart but the hype he got was clearly fraudulent.

Yeah, because taking a FULL forced knee (with thai clinch and full momentum square to the jaw and still remaining conscious is the epitome of "china chinned."

How are you smart enough to dress yourself in the morning?

Rampage Jackson has a Chin. He ate dozens of knees from two of the best clinch fighters ever in three separate bouts and only went unconscious once. Rich Franklin's Chin is average at best and he ate multiple knees from Anderson before being starched. Shields ate one knee to the Jaw and was done for. He has no Chin. None.:deal

Your lack of logic and knowledge in general and your speaking as if you do makes my head hurt.

My stellar Prediction League record and consistency in accurately breaking down and picking fights from a technical standpoint put that bunk to bed, kiddo. Check the stats, read the posts, and ****ing weep, dummy.

If you had anything to rebut the counterpoint I just made you wouldn't have had to resort to something as inane and cliche as the above. You've refuted nothing and instead fell back on a pathetic argument that basically amounts to, "I don't like what you said so I'll say that it's stupid".:patsch

You didn't say anything to counter my point either. You simply showed that someone can take more than one knee before being knocked unconscious. On it's face, that looks fine but when you think about it for 5 seconds it kind of falls apart.

We don't know for sure if Jake could or could not have taken another one because he wasn't in a position to do so.

Your "point" is also empty because the knees Rampage took were not nearly as clean nor as picture perfect as the one Jake got hit with. Even Silva didn't hit Franklin that cleanly and with that much force.

As I said... you thinking you know what you're talking about is almost as bad as the nonsense you spew.

This is the single stupidest thing I've ever ****ing read on here and when you have fools like Beekeeper and scurlacuntings posting, that's quite the achievement. He wasn't in a position to take more knees? No ****, you ****ing dummy, he wasn't in a position to do so because he has a Glass Jaw and was completely ****ed from the first one!:patsch

And yes, Rampage ate plenty of knees that were just as clean. For ****'s sake, the guy spent at least five minutes in the clinch between all three bouts, got drilled to the face dozens and dozens of times. Go watch them again, particularly the Rua fight, because the guy gets straight lit exactly like Shields on multiple occasions. And if you don't think that Silva's knee directly to the face of Franklin, the one that gave him an on-the-spot rhinoplasty, was as clean or as hard, you're spewing **** and drivel or you never watched the fights. Get your weight up dummy, because you aren't in my league, son.

Actually, if you took of your blindfold and looked, they're not the same scenario. Rampage took standing knees while Jake was going in for a clinch/double, thus already on his way to a lower level which wouldn't exactly help him when he takes a clean knee to the chin. Rampage on the other hand could be wobbled by a knee (which was not nearly as clean) but still stand with just as wobbled a chin.

Your false equivalences only expose your ignorance and stupidity. Keep going if you want to make it clearer.

I hope I'm not in your league because then I'd be drooling on myself.

Silva hit Franklin with knees from a different position. Franklin in a defensive while Jake was in an offensive. Yes, Silva hit him with enough force to break his nose but a nose is a bit more fragile than a jaw. But then again that takes intelligence to understand so I can forgive you. As I've delineated above, they're not the same. It's called a false equivalence and that's what you're doing. Common but ultimately ridiculous and baseless.

Want to keep going or dig yourself deeper?

Gomi was not so great when he came over, although he was already on the downslide for some time before
