Most dissapointing fighter in recent times?

I never liked Zab Judah. When he was doing the chicken dance against Kostya I was laughing my lungs out.

When Baldomir beat him, I rejoiced.

I was also rooting against him when Floyd dominated him, Spinks schooled him and Cotto DESTROYED him.

BUT... I have to admit that the guy was an incredible talent and had brutal power and blazing speed.

In retrospect, Zab Judah has to be the most dissapointing fighter in the last 10 years. Abundant athleticism, power, speed and technique, but inconsistent, undisciplined, weak willed and overconfident.

In fact, Baldomir, Kostya and Spinks were fights that he should have won.

    vitali klitschko.

this guy should have absolutely cleaned up after lewis retired. should have unified the belts and ruled with an iron fist for 7 years solid racking up 15-20 defences and being universally regarded as a top 10 atg.

instead he gets injury after injury and comes back feather fisted!

he'll be lucky to crack the top 30 now but his potential was there for all to see.

I think the Klitschkos are a let down too, simply because they refuse to fight each other. The question about who`s the best HW of recent times will never be answered because of this.

He should've beaten Baldo, and he did beat Spinks in the rematch. However you are way off with Tszyu.

Kostya was a great boxer, much greater than Zab...highly skilled and fundamentally sound, one of the greatest amateurs careers (while Zab lost to David Diaz twice to miss out on the Olympics)..

and the power, would always be a problem for Zab 100 times out of a 100...Kostya struggled more with relentless pressure fighters who wouldn't give him room to think or allow him any extension on his power punches..Zab not in a million years could fight that type of fight...timing and control of distance was Tszyu's thing, and he ate up those speedy slick guys

I don't buy that Zab was much of a wasted talent. He had tremendous athleticism and physical skills, but that's only part of boxing. He never had, never could have had the mentality and toughness to be an ATG. Skill level and physical abilty you can improve, you can't change the core of a person or what's inside of them.

I would say Hamed to, I think Hamed was potentially the most talented fighter Britain has had after Lewis. I think Hamed could of come back and still had a very respectable career had he maintained his desire.

Its easy for people to discount Hamed against elite guys like Pac, Marquez, Manny, but when the man can punch the way Hamed could, and Marquez having a tendency to get hit and hurt, Morales having a tendency to get hit cleanly, I dont think its out of the question to give him a realistic chance against any of those guys, he might not be the favourite, but he would be a live dog in a fight against any of them.

joshua clottey. he wasn't scared to exchange with bigger cottos or margaritos, but he hides in his shell against pacquiao the whole night and then runs into obscurity hoping everyone forgets. the guy should've been a monster, and him and paul williams should've been fighting. instead, he takes arum's bribe and doesn't do his country justice.

I don't agree mate. You think the Hatton brothers would ever fight each other? the Marquez brothers? Besides doing what they(Klits)do, they have more control over the division and make more money from it.
