I know "back in the day" a lot of fights ended in draws, but I was wondering about the most draws for modern day fighters. Something like maybe 1920's and on. I found a figher Perico Fernandez who finished with a record of 83-28-15. 15 draws, sounds crazy. He fought from 1972 to 1987 and was the WBC light Welterweight champion for one fight. Who can you find with more draws?
Yeah, right after I posted this I went and looked at his record, thinking he might have had him beat.
Valentin Angelmann has 16 (121-39-16) but fought from 27 to 46. According to the rules I stated in the initial post he started in the 20's, so I guess this can count, but I am interested in more modern fighters with a ton of draws. (Don't ask me why, lol) Theo Medina: 91-44-14 Hans Schemig: 43-26-17 (That's a lot of draws for that percentage of fights)
