Paulie is very akward guy to get your punches and combinations off. The guy is multi-dimensional. It was no surpise that he couldn't. That's why Khan didn't try rush in with pointless flurries because none would land. If he fights Marquez next, expect some better combination punching.
Khan hasn't displayed great all round combination punching yet. Not consistently for sure. He's very fast though, and hits with some good pop. You can;t get confused with flash over substance, it's like, Camacho=flash, Olivares=substance that's just in technical terms, Camacho was effective of course.
Quality, I remember when he was embarrassing De Leon for short spells. Really slick with it as well though, he'd make some room with a step to the right with his lead foot, then throw some nice hooks to capitalise. Really good boxer. Good mention and thanks for posting that, haven't seen it before.
Oscar De La Hoya No one has ever landed as many combos on Tito than Oscar. [yt]A-Z7GgoH5-A&feature=related[/yt]
I would agree with you.. Textbook, technical punches, not Roy by a long shot... But the title of the thread was most effective, which you covered in your post.:good
