Where they not only been beaten - but their big ego has been destroyed.

Enzo V Haye - comes to mind - Enzo thought he was Number 1 Crusierweight in the world and planned to be the first Undisputed Champion since Holyfield. His ego was smashed to pieces that Haye could slice through him so easy.

Naz V Barrera - Naz's ego was so conceited - he could not handle getting owned and was mentally crushed into depression.

Haye v Wlad - from spreading his arms out in a egotistcal pose like he was the Angel Of The North after smashing Enzo - reduced to making self pity excuses about his little toe. A ego humbled.

    Haye after crushing Enzo.............

How did I know Enzo-Haye would "come to mind"?

My domestic pick would be Derry Mathews loss to ESB favourite Choi, after that he went on to lose to good fighters but ones that with his skills he really ought to have beat imo

Those you mention are top examples fella.Athough not as big seeing Alex Arthur getting humped by Gomez was very satisfying.

  4. Christ sake. This is past obsession now. Funny thing is if anything it didn't damage enzo that much because he's been more a active than hate since. Might not have win any but throws punches rather than bitchin out

    Yep.

Until then Arthur was talking in interviews like he was up there with Roy Jones and Barrera and Hopkins.

i wont lie, ive always liked Alex Arthur, and i was gutted he was beaten that night, but he was never the same since that beating he got, i dont care whether he won a world title or not afterwards, the "left hook happy" Gomez took something from him that night, and he never regained it.

thats the biggest ego shattering loss IMO

Haye whinging about his pinky toe is up there as well though,

his ****ing pinky toe, what a little girl

Benn when he lost to Watson brought him down with a bump - though to be fair he bounced straight back up again. Warrior Spirit

The loss Naz suffered against Barrera

Nah, his ego hasn't suffered one bit. Still as cocky as ever. You've gotta love Vic though.

Oh, now, of course not. But at the time his ego was severely dented. Of course, the victories that followed have since rebuilt it, but it was ruined at the time.
