Who is the most entertaining / exciting fighter, in your opinion? Include past, present, or both.

Tyson was the most exciting of all time, Sam Peter is the most exciting fighter to watch now IMO.

Word. Hearns was a favourite of mine for a long time. There was just something about the lanky, top-heavy, afro headed warrior I liked. :) Tyson of course. I loved his (rather short) fight with Spinks. The poor bloke looked absolutely terrified. For some reason that fight just sticks in my mind. The atmosphere was bizarre and cold.

Cus D'Amato passed the torch on to Kevin Rooney and Teddy Atlas, and what have they done? Kevin is a drunk and Teddy isn't even a trainer anymore.
Cus D'Amato saw fighting as an entertainment, Tyson was the last of his breed, unfortunately, we'll not see another Tyson.

On entertaining fighters, anyone that doesn't run for the hills.

The past has far too great of a variety of entertaining fighters in different types of excitement to really even narrow it down to a short list.

The very recent past would include mostly fighters from 126-147 including Morales, MAB, Gatti, Ward, Tito, and of course Naz.

The present starts, for me, with Cotto.

Cintron fell slightly with his poor performance but still makes the grade, Pacman is there, Marquez and Vasquez earned their way the hard way, twice. JMM makes the list. Plenty of others I'm missing off the top of my head.

I enjoy Hattons fights, but some don't.

For simple "wow, thats hillarious" factor, Emmanuel Augustus.

    Israel Vazquez is absolutely brilliant.
He had me, my brother and two friends on the edge of our seats screaming for him in the Rafael Marquez rematch :happy

Why? Did you not consider him one of the more entertaining fighters of the 90's? My list clearly stated I was only including people from the recent past and present.

Forget absolutely everything outside of the ring, that **** was a bit obnoxious, but doesn't a guy with the ability to end a shot with a glancing blow from either hand seem exciting to you?

You can disagree, you would be wrong of course, but to totally ignore a list that includes a guy many others do as well is absurd.
