    I'll go along with an in his prime Mugabi & Bazooka Limon next. Gotta love that Limon--wide open and threw 3 or 4 uppercuts from his kneecap in a row. And Mugabi didn't know what a jab was and was obviously a gunslinger of the highest order when the opening bell rang in the first round. And he had 2 handed 1 punch ko power.

    it was about 76' or so.the benefit do for eddie ?? singleton was a couple of years later.i think
    alfrancis must've only been about 28 at the time ??:D

    i think it is on the tape i have i
    got it about 6yrs ago i think so dont know if the tape still works it was not a great quality tape

    dave boy green is a top bloke always happy to talk on the times i met him he even approached me once at a boxing show and asked how i was shook my hand and we talked for a while

    I've met him a couple of times myself and funny enough my brother said what a nice a fella he is when he was talking to him at the boxing news 100 years dinner

    Green is one of the fellas I grew up watching along with Minter, Kevin Finnegan, John Stracey, Conteh, Mo Hope, Magri and Johnny Owen.

    These guys were like Dempsey and Tyson in their eras, and perhaps more exciting because nobody had seen anything like it before.

    When they retired they were both credited with having changed the fight game from an endurence contest to a quick dynamic destruction of an oponent.

    i can remember watching green and stracey fight palomino on bbc and minter with my dad on the sofa , i saw hope a few times to on the tv magri was always exciting cause he was pretty fragile if in with anyone who could punch.the strcey hedgeman lewis fight is i think my earliest memory
