For me I correlate epic KO with the most brutal KO's. I think Julian Jackson would get a few spots on the list for several of his fights. Off the top of my head though, Duran getting knocked out cold in the 2nd round vs the Hitman had to be one of the most epic KO's I ever saw.
Its strange When Coralles was totally gone, and then in desperation caught JLC - the punch he hit Castillo with - THAT one punch - which paralyzed the granite Castillo - will live as long as any KO Same goes fo the Lewis Uppercut on Vitali (which has made history remember Vitali as having one of the GOAT chins
ok...i'll play... i always think of wayne alexander vs takaloo @ 10.30 here....and replays afterwards.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okfGnACPaEg
That Lewis punch uppercut Vitali is still the hardest punch I've ever seen a man take without going down. He should have been unconscious.
I cant think of a more memorable example of a granite chin No one who watched that fight will ever forget it Its strange - cant think of anoher fight where you remember a non KO punch
Very true. When my friends who don't follow boxing ask me what the hardest shot I've ever seen is I always show them that clip. None of them can believe it.
I certainly do remember the Khan body shot against Maidana though. What a little bulldog that man is, couldn't believe he got up.
