No doubt I’m missing some more recent examples and unfortunately two of the best fights of all time aren’t available on film - Arnold Taylor v Romeo Anaya and Rafael Herrera v Rodolfo Martinez 2 both happened in 1973. There is at least a six-minute highlight video of the latter fight, though.

Try Jimmy Famechon vs Jose Legra. Harder one to judge, I get sat down in a trance with that and just admire the fight, lot of exciting technical and pretty movements. I think you might enjoy any of Jeff Fenech's stuff. Just pick one, any of them. Err- Yuh Myung Woo is the same. Honestly, I don't have any particular fights, all the little guys are usually awesome the PEAK of boxing. I am just pushing Legra because he's my new "Coupon favourite" I just wanna see him be Forum famous. Become overrated to high hell and birth countless flame wars.

Just thought of another top notch bantam clash that I saw relatively recently: Yonnhy Perez v Joseph Agbeko 1 from 2009.

 

Nestor vs Enrique Sanchez is a war as well.

Sugar Ramos vs Mando Ramos is an insane fight. Sugar Ramos vs Davey Moore is also brilliant - albeit tragic, although it isn't tragic in the same unsettling sense as something like Mancini-Kim - and the fight with Floyd Robertson is great too. If you find that, please post the video. Last time I went to rewatch it was gone, and I haven't looked since.

Saldivar has some unreal fights. My favourites are the Laguna, Winstone, Seki and Legra. Just watch them all, though. Trust me, it's worth it. It's like watching all of Sanchez's title reign. It's one of those things you'll just wind up doing.

 

The Sugar Ramos-Floyd Robertson fight is on YouTube, just not in its entirety - more like extended highlights. Was there a complete version before, George?

 

He did indeed start slow, but due to his incredibly low heart and pulse rate ( shared with Armstrong ) he had inhuman stamina and endurance, almost getting stronger as the fight progressed, top five for me. stay safe guys.
