    I think I'll go with Holyfield. If you include his whole career, then it's definitely him.

    Golota is up there - this is one guy who was impossible to predict. For one reason or another, his fights were memorable and usually exciting.

    Bowe was tremendous on his day but he was very inconsistent - he would sometimes coast through fights.

    True.. but could be interpreted as most exciting achievements.

    Exactly. If you weren't around at the time, you just can't appreciate how popular the guy was. More well known globally than any fighter I can think of aside from Muhammad Ali.. actually... maybe even more well known during his time than Ali was. Maybe.

    Love him or hate him, everyone knew who Mike Tyson was and when he was fighting it was the biggest sports news.
