    Rosendo Alvarez always brought the best out of Lopez as well. I liked both of their fights, especially the 2nd fight..

    El Bufalo is a severely underrated fighter who gave Ricardo Lopez his toughest fights. Alvarez should have won the first fight against him, especially after he knocked him down for the first time. Entertaining fighter and his fights with Beibis Mendoza are also great.

    I agree, I thought Alvarez should have got the nod in the 1st fight as well. I've never seen the Mendoza fights I'll have to check those out.

    Edit: I did watch those fights with Mendoza, as a matter of fact I have the 1st 2 Holyfield-Ruiz fights, the 1st one on VHS then their PPV rematch on DVD. I haven't watched those fights in ages.

    I remembered when Darchinyan stopped Cristian Mijares in a surprise upset. Darchinyan always had such a bizarre style that looked like a crab attacking but he could really fight.
