Lennox Lewis vs Henry Akinwande was also pretty bad. Non stop holding from Akinwande until the ref finally had enough and DQ'd him.

Brandon Rios had his shares of DQ wins (Anthony Peterson, Diego Chaves). His constant whining about Diego Chaves was hilarious.

I recall reading about his fight when I first got interested in boxing and it sounded so intense. I remember reading that Zivic's fouls were so subtle that it was just slowly putting Davis over the edge. I don't know if he was complaining to the ref - back then they didn't complain, they just got even. But when he had had enough he just went wild on Fritzie. Would have been something if there was ever footage on these great old bouts.

I remember President Bill Clinton being interviewed on the Tyson-Holyfield disqualification the day after the fight.

When the President of the United States is outraged and commenting on it, it's kind of a big deal. (LOL)

I was watching some old footage of it recently and people thought gunshots had gone off in the casino as people were filing out and there was a panic and a stampede of people thru the casino. They had to shut down the casinos for a few hours. That's a big deal in Vegas.

Bowe-Golota I would be the other, of course. A mass riot in New York which aired on live TV that night. That was out of control. George Foreman holding guys down. Jim Lampley running up to balcony and crying on TV because he couldn't find his daughter. Pretty dramatic stuff.

Those two were the biggest to me.

To imagine that Golota got DQed again in the same manner is in some way just too ridiculous to think about it.

I literally imagine him telling Bowe in the clinches it was gonna happen again- he had to be trolling Riddick the second time around- Andy was such a scoundrel lol.
