Most famous fight in the state, canton, prefecture, department, or equivalent where you live at?

I’ve also seen Jesse James Hughes fight in Alabama and some others, and the record books say Willie Pep fought in Mobile also but not in a championship fight (and believe it or not, before my time haha). The Wilder title bouts were obviously the biggest.

The good ol WBF...believe it or not when i was in my early 20s and in a low wage-family own business job, Id probably attended if I was living in Alabama, just to see something live lol.. ahh to be young!

i did attend a WBO fight between Josue Camacho and Michael Carbajal. I did consider it a major world championship bout but back then not even HBO or Ring Magazine did, only ESPN gave the WBO the respect it already deserved. That cost me about 15 dollars plus my dad who went with me , 15 dollars too and plus hot dog money.

Went over to my parents’ house tonight to watch some playoff baseball. They’re in their 80s. Some of my best memories are going to fights with my father and talking boxing with him. Cherish those times and memories.
