But he said it, it's what matters. If Floyd would accept you are saying Ward would have refused?

he can't impose it. golovkin doesn't have to sign for a 155lb fight.

Okay, he has the right to ask for whatever he wants. But he doesn't have the right or the power to make his mandatory concede weight.

    It's a joke.

Look at their height, reach, and walking around weight.

Look at the 30 day weights and their fight night weights.

Canelo is a disgrace. They're nearly the same size.

Are you going to hold GG responsible if Canelo vacates?

As I said in my original comment, they are BOTH divas in my opinion. Why would I hold GGG responsible if Canelo vacates? GGG will wind up with the belt whether Canelo vacates or not. If Canelo vacates, GGG may have to crush some can for it. But, that's business as usual for him anyway. If Canelo gets stripped, he gets it by default. GGG can't lose either way...if all he wants is the belt. And that's all he said he wanted, anyway. It's the fans that lose out.

Well, yeah. Any sensible minded fighter or fan will think so. It's wrong. Only Canelo's fans or biased people will think draining MWs down to fight for their division title is okay.

    Fair enough.

    Let's hope it happens.

Canelo insists on 155 as he can pile on the pounds post weigh-in better than others. Uneven playing field.

There's that, and the obvious hope that GG may struggle to make 155.

Every time Canelo speaks out on this, I just automatically think of Duran fighting Barkley. I just can't help it.
