Looking for some nominees. No tomato cans or journeyman with fragile mandibles, please. Just world class operators. Guys like Roy Jones, Hasim Rahman, Tommy Morrison, Oleg Maskaev. Lower weight guys like Terry Norris or Amir Khan too!

Once we generate some good names, I'll put up a poll and see what the consensus is on the most fragile mandible of all time!

Obviously, if a fighter is an all-time great then his chin isn’t horrible. So we are talking more about the way he lost when he lost. I think Terry Noris and Tommy Hearns would both be high on this list.

Hagler's chin was so bad. Rocked by Hearns in the opening seconds.

Wilder's gotta be on the list. How many world class guys taste canvas against guys like Nichols and Sconiers and then get a obliterated by the first decent fighter in their prime they face - and a light-hitter at that??

Ken Norton? 4 brutal KO losses, and the last one vs Cooney was the worst.

I'm not exactly a historian of the game but I definitely disagree with this. Norton had a KO loss on the come-up against Jose Luis Garcia, but after that he went the distance with Ali x3 (beating him once, and he arguably beat him in 73), against Quarry and against Holmes. His only KO loss in his arguable prime was against murderous puncher Foreman; his other KO losses were at age 35 to another murderous puncher in Shavers, and against Cooney at age 37.

I find it a bit lazy tbh when I see Jones Jr listed here. A guy knocked down ONCE briefly in his first 48 fights. Only when he was aged 35 plus (and waay older), with 50 plus fights behind him did he start getting regularly KO d. No weaknesses displayed at all prior to that. He was obviously old and diminished by that point. And went on far, far too long.

Surprised Julian Jackson hasn't been mentioned yet. The Hawk was pretty much the textbook definition of a glass cannon.

    Nope disagree.

Arguably a top 5 p4p ever. His resume is insane.

It's so obviously Roy who hands down not only has the worst chin of any boxer I've ever laid eyes upon but has the worst chin I've ever seen on any human being, be they a toddler or a 70lb old lady.

That SHOULD be common sense among those claiming to be students of the sport. But here we are....
