What are the most fragile and vulnerable fighters right now? I think Joshua. He has both bad chin and punch fear.
Joshua is in a fairly vulnerable state now from multiple perspectives. His confidence must have been dashed a fair bit after that. All this from Eddie Hearn about how 'Joshua's skilled too, he might outbox Usyk!' only to 180, 'Terrible gameplan, cost him the fight, he isn't good enough to outbox Usyk!' Hearn's 'Joshua couldn't have fought much worse' that was probably supposed to sell how much better he'd be in the rematch ... but what if Joshua thought he was at his best? I certainly did. Now he's told he has actually regressed and would have done better if he brought the Wlad version. These aren't consoling words at the least. What if Joshua spends the next 6 months practicing some super-aggressive 'old AJ' style, comes in, takes a few stinging lefts and is badly hurt, and realises that last fight's game was the best he could do. I wouldn't be suprised with a no más.
The bodybuilder is even more fragile than Amir Fraud Khan was in his prime and that’s saying something. AJ is so weak mentally that he makes Wlad look like a lion in comparison
Dunno if I'd call Khan fragile. He was susceptible to taking big shots, and his legs were wont to go on him, but he had tremendous heart and self-belief. With Joshua, you can see his confidence dissolve in the ring when he's tested. The Ruiz Jr. and Usyk fights were kind of heavy on the pathos, and I'm not particularly an AJ fan.
Khan was indeed as fragile as they come, but I do agree, at least he wasn’t gun shy and shooting blanks like a manufactured bodybuilder. Also Khan’s chin is classified as glass aka level D, I would put AJ at level C
AJ is scared to engage since Ruiz. Khan may be a human punchbag but he never lost his desire to rumble.
