Most freakish stamina of all time?

    If Joe made it through the 15th, Would he have won? At the time I remember it was very close.

    That round was amazing on both parts. Marciano for throwing non-stop bombs at Moore through out the whole round, and Moore for being able to survive that round.

    good question!

    i think ali was comfortably ahead on points but....... ali was also close to quiting himself andi think he said that if frazier dident quit, he would have quit.

    Ali had great stamina and great conditioning... the guy could take punishment and still be there throwing punches (albeit a few combos at the end of the round) at the end of 15 gruelling rounds with a punishing pressure fighter like Frazier. If Frazier was hit with what Frazier was hitting Ali with, I don't think the fight would go the distance. Ali against Norton again shows great conditioning and stamina to fight big in the championship rounds

    For me there's Hank Armstrong

    and then there's the rest. On this level we have myriads, Sanchez, Frazier, Marciano, Pryor and many others mentioned, a young Roberto Duran could sure pound it out late too.
