Most Fundamentally Sound Boxer?

    Hopkins did what he did at a later stage because he lacked the coordination to actually throw combinations. Watch him with the mitts sometime in the last 3-4 years. It's rather unimpressive.

    Good call.

    Spinks is a weird example of a boxer who had some classic boxer strengths (hard to hit, conservative with energy etc.) but was very unorthodox. That's partly why he was able to be successful when he moved up.

    Yep his speed was still there though he wasn't the puncher he was at lt hvy he still had respectable power. Last fight I saw of his was Qawi which is why it led me to believe him to be technical. Still a great jab but very poor footwork though a great fighter.
