Ali to many boxing fans. Ali is known to many as the Michael Jordan of boxing and many praise and love the guy. I respect his boxing but he was a real ***** and passed the line on his **** talking. I remember seeing documentaries where this guy showed up at training camp to I believe Joe Frazier and he was throwing chairs at him. He also called him a uncle tom which was a real low blow espically considering the time. What makes all this worse, is Frazier is the one who helped him with money after Ali ' s suspension from boxing was lifted and also help hype Ali back on the scene. Seeing Ali get defeated was so sweet. Also not sure if this is correct but I think there is also a report where Ali pulled a gun on Frazier after Frazier whooped his ass. Mayorga is also one, there is a report where he got a deal to stay out of jail with his county for a portion of his money for a bad **** he committed.
A lot of boxers come from povety striken areas where violent behavior is a way of life. I don't make excuses for them, but people do desperate things when trying to survive. Hopkins went to jail, yet used boxing to turn his life around, why can't Stevenson do the same?
The Frazier giving Ali money angle has been over analysed. He gave him a couple cab rides he didn't need that was about it. Frazier never saw Ali as a friend just a future opponent. He only helped him with the licence reinstating so he could fight him.

Tyson perhaps should be hated but he isn't Wlad is also hated because he's a boring fighter that never takes any risks and lays on top of his opponents till they are tired.
